Sightseeing in my city is really not a boring thing to do, nor a waste of your precious time. There's a lot more in Manila that most tourists don't even know about. If you are a tourist, or just planning to visit Manila, Philippines you might want to have your own travel guide and a map city - those 2 would be your best friends as you explore your way through the busy streets in Manila.
The rehabilitated and reconstructed Manila Baywalk would be the best place to start off. The area has been paved well reconstructed and brought back the real beauty making sightseeing in my city enjoyable. With live bands during the night, you also get a chance to skip from one restaurant to another trying to taste the wonderful Filipino delicacies while you grab a bottle of your favorite drink.
If you prefer day tours, and prefer to feel the rays the sun on your skin, a guided tour of Manila would take you to selected places of historical attractions and fascinating parts of the town. Some landmarks would include Fort Santiago, San Agustin church, Quiapo and Divisoria if you wanted to go to a shopping spree on a small budget. Sightseeing in my city would not only take a day if you'd really love to visit all those popular attractions. You might want to have your itinerary. Getting around the city isn't that hard. You can ride a passenger jeepneys (one thing which Philippines is famous of), city bus, a cab or a metro transport.
