Kayangan Lake is well-known as the cleanest lake in the Philippines is positioned in the Northern part of Coron Palawan. The lake could also be named the "Blue Lagoon" simply because of possessing the equivalent attribute of the lake in the film with the same title.
Through Coron Travel Brochure - "Prepare to be mesmerized by its stately beauty and grace. The entrance itself is awe-inspiring, as is the view from the top. It has been hailed many times over as the cleanest fresh water lake in the country." - With that basic explanation alone, it without a doubt gained my curiosity to pay a visit to it!
As I entered the entrance of Kayangan Lake, you may experience several limestone walls together with interesting rock formations. Moving forward to enter into this small bay where one could certainly park the boats. After parking it, here comes the quick hike to the mountain peak! To reach Kayangan Lake a quick walk in the mountain is a needed, so be ready for a little work! But be alert in your walk, the stone is a bit difficult and a bit unsafe.
As I hike to the mountain, the tour guide will ask vacationer to make a little detour to see a cavern. Surely you just can't see something but normally tourist will make use of the flash in there digicam to revealed the cave but it's vacant! But as I flipped around and see, there you will be stun by the awesome scene! Incredible! This is the similar position where the remarkable picture of Kayangan Lake was used. Up there you can observe the bay from you've parked the boat and where you came in.
The vision what I have see can be consider as one of the most over the top sights of mother nature that I have ever looked at, surely it was quite a sight. I have stayed there a little longer so i could try to take pleasure in the view, but for tourists who visit the place in typical hours for sure there will be some other group arriving and the area will get a bit crowded to you and you'll immediately need to leave. After it, there will be another set of steps going down to access the lake...
I suggest people to come earlier so you could possibly have a lot extended hours for swimming as well as relaxing in the lake. By the way, the lake was know to be a blend of salt together with fresh water, one thing I'm not sure is the salt is natural or came from the sweat....enjoy! Be certain to bring some Sun Protection and Bug Lotion, I remember there's quite a lot insect flying around.
Coron Town Center normally should begin as early as 9 AM for every vacationer but there is some boatman who is prepared to start earlier, so do not forget to ask! Having the extra free time is a plus for me. 1st, I can tour more island and different beaches; next, once I arrive early I can have more time to be glad about the views and take some terrific photo; third I can enjoy the lake more. If you're a good swimmer, you might want to have a look around the lake corner to corner or you may use the 2 accessible Bamboo Raft in the lake!
Traveler could comfortably remain here, for there are lots of Coron Hotels. But resulting from my shortage in time period, I just didn't remain. However, I plan to visit it again. Further ahead is one of the many sunken Japanese Submarine from WW2 referred to wreck dive, although you need a scuba gear and also a pro license so you could look at it but I assume some area provide snorkel, so traveller can also enjoy the coral reefs and sea life.
